Step 1. Adding TJ as a Traffic Source in Peerclick

To add TJ to PeerClick open the Sources tab and click New. Choose TJ from the catalog and press Add. TJ postback URL and all the available macros will be already added to the Source.

Note that Postback URL template for TJ will be already pre-set in Peerclick. However, you need to replace [TRACKERID]1000158841 and [TJACCOUNTID]1001144831 with actual values that can be obtained from Invocation code. We will explain it in greater detail in Step 5.

Step 2. Creating a Campaign in PeerClick

When you start set up the campaign in the PeerClick you must already have prepared an offer, which u will add in the campaign.

1. Go to the Campaigns tab.

2. Click +New.

3. Give a name to your campaign in the Campaign name field.

4. From the Traffic source drop-down menu select the traffic source that you have previously created.

5. Select the cost model in the Cost type section. If you have selected to track costs with one of the four cost models (CPC, CPM, CPA, RevShare), you might need to provide the cost value in the Number of cost field. You can update the values you set at any moment using the Update cost function.

6. If you want to use a lander, click on + Add lander and choose from the drop-down menu.

7. Choose Direct linking if you don’t want to use a lander page.

8. Click + Offer to choose offers from the list.

Your Campaign URL will be generated at the Tracking section of the campaign automatically. Copy the link to clipboard. Here is the example of the link with the added tokens:

Step 3. Modifying Campaign URL (optional)

Make sure to keep ClickID macros. For TJ, {ACLID} parameter is used for this purpose.

Step 4. Launching a campaign in TJ

Log into your TJ advertiser account, click the Campaigns tab. You can either choose an existing campaign or click New Campaign and create a new one. Fill in the information related to your campaign.

Paste the Campaign link you have obtained in Step 3 into Target URL section and proceed with setting up your TJ Campaign.

Step 5. Setting Up Peerclick to pass conversions to TJ

In order to pass your conversions correctly, you need to set up a new tracker in TJ. Open Tools>Conversion Tracker and click New Tracker. Enter the name of your tracker (Peerclick) and specify the type of events you wish to track. Click Add Tracker.

Find your tracker on the list and click view in Invocation Code column. Choose Postback URL and your Postback URL will be generated automatically.

Copy the a and member_id values from Invocation code and replace [TRACKERID] and [TJACCOUNTID] with actual values in Peerclick that you doing at Step1. Go to Sources in Peerclick and edit TrafficJunky. Make sure that your postback contains Click id values that should look like this aclid={external_id}. Also mark the checkbox Enable postback And dont forget to save that all.
