Cloudflare Custom Domain Adding
Updated yesterday

You can use a dedicated test domain or a custom domain as a tracking domain. A custom domain allows you to track traffic independently of other users, while a test domain is used by everyone and can be banned at any time.

There are two ways to add a domain to the tracker: standard (manual) or via integration.

Manual Adding a Custom Cloudflare Domain

Setting up a custom domain on the Cloudflare side

1. Purchase a domain from https://www.cloudflare.com/ and log in to your account.

2. Click on the DNS button at the top of the screen.

3. In the DNS card, select CNAME from the drop-down menu in the Search DNS Record field and specify redirect.topeerclick.com in the corresponding field.

Setting a custom domain in PeerClick

1. Go to the Settings section.

2. Go to the Domains section.

3. Click the Add domain button. The settings window will appear:

4. Go to settings.

5. n the window that opens, specify your custom domain in the format subdomain.domain.com if the Cname is specified for the subdomain, or in the format domain.com if the Cname is specified for the domain.

6. Select index type:

  • By selecting Default in the settings and going to the domain address, you will see the message The domain is successfully added.

  • By selecting 404 Page Not Found in the settings and going to the domain address, you will see the corresponding error on the page.

  • By selecting Redirect to campaign, specifying the corresponding campaign in the field that appears and going to the domain address, you will be taken to the specified campaign.

These settings are used to redirect random traffic to your domain address.

7. Save the changes.

The new domain record with the subdomain will appear in the tracker's list of domains.
