Cost Registration

Different Cost Types Settings

Updated over a week ago

Go to the campaign settings in the Cost type section:

By default, the cost type is set as Without cost. This setting means that campaign cost statistics will be zero, regardless of what the traffic source transmits.

To record cost in statistics, change the Without cost setting to one of the following cost types:

1. RevShare

If you select the RevShare (Revenue Share) type, set the percentage value in the Number of cost field.

The cost amount is calculated according to the formula Conversion Revenue * Cost Percentage and is assigned only when the conversion is registered in the tracker.

For example, with a specified percentage of 50% and a conversion revenue of $10, the cost would be $10 * 0.5 = $5.

The currency of the cost will correspond to the specified currency of the offer revenue settings.

2. CPA

If you select the CPA (Cost per Action) type, set the cost per visit and the cost currency in the Number of cost field.

A price is assigned to a visit only when a conversion is registered in the tracker.

3. CPC

If you select the CPC (Cost per Click) type, set the cost per visit and the cost currency in the Number of cost field.

A price is assigned to a visit when registering visits in the tracker, regardless of the registration of conversions.

4. CPM

If you select the CPM (Cost per Mille) type, set the cost per visit and the cost currency in the Number of cost field.

A price is assigned to a visit upon registration of every thousand visits in the tracker, regardless of the registration of conversions. Each visit will cost 1/1000 of the entered value.

5. Auto

When you select the Auto type, the tracker only records the data sent by the source.

Set the cost currency in the Number of cost field.

In the source settings in the tracker, set the transfer of cost data in the reserved parameter Cost in the format cost={source_macro}.

The name of the cost parameter is reserved and cannot be changed.

The macro responsible for transmitting source data is taken on the side of the traffic source.

!! If the cost statistics contain data that is generated by bots and not by the traffic source, specify the Number of max cost value that will not be shown in the statistics table.

Even if bot data is not displayed in general statistics, all incoming cost values, including bot values can be seen in the cost token report.
